AC/DCThe hard rock band AC/DC was formed in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. The name AC/DC came from the acronym “AC/DC” meaning “alternating current/direct current”. The name became symbolic of the bands raw energy and power-driven performances. The band are consider, along with bands like Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, as one of the pioneers of hard rock.
